Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) — in exclusive partnership with The College of Legal Practice

The GDL is a short, focused law conversion course for non-law graduates, sitting at Level 6. It covers the seven foundation areas of the law of England & Wales that students would otherwise cover in an undergraduate LLB. Designed to bring non-law graduates — or those with limited knowledge of English law — up to speed, it enables a seamless transition onto SQE preparation courses or the LLM in Legal Practice. Available as a 20-week full-time or 40-week part-time course, the GDL covers the seven foundation areas specified by both the SRA and the Bar Standards Board, making it suitable for those progressing towards either the solicitor or barrister route.
